About the FACT Coalition
FACT is a coalition of individuals and groups working together for the benefit of children and families in the areas of Point Douglas and the North End.
Since 2001, Healthy Child Manitoba has funded 26 Parent-Child Coalitions across the Province. These 23 regional and 3 cultural coalitions support families in their community by bringing together various strengths and resources from different sectors. This Parent-Child Centred approach promotes and supports community-based programs and activities for children and families.
Parent-Child Coalitions support existing programs and initiate new activities that reflect the diversity and unique needs of each community.
