Grants

FACT provides small grants to community organizations in the Point Douglas Community Area twice per year: in the Spring with an application deadline of April 30th, and in the Fall with an application deadline of October 15th.

A limited number of small grants will be available to non-profit incorporated groups operating within the Point Douglas community. Proposals must address one or more of our 4 pillars: “Literacy, Parenting, Healthy Lifestyles and Community Capacity Building” and directly benefit children 0-4 and their families. Priority will be given to requests that address challenges identified in the EDI scores in the areas of literacy, communication skills and health. The maximum amount available is $3,000. Funds are limited and a committee selection process will be completed in late October.

You can find our current grant application form on the right side of this page.

Requests for funding for snack and meal programs will not be considered.  One day events are limited to a maximum of $500.
